21st Century Skills

The Partnership for 21st Century Skills is most commonly identified as the primary source for information on the defining skills considered 21st century.
The Partnership offers Route 21, "a one-stop-shop for 21st century skills-related information, resources and community tools."

The Metiri Group has released a framework called Dimension21. It is designed to align to the standards from the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, ISTE, and enGauge (originally developed by NCREL). Dimensions21 is intended to be an audit system that gauges a school or district's current status and readiness to implement 21st Century learning. It includes key student assessments for engagement and self-directed, lifelong learning.
